under “Computer Configuration, Administrative Templates, Windows
Components, Terminal Services.” Click “Enabled,” then enter in the names of the Terminal Server
license servers you want the Terminal Service to contact. Click “OK.” Open the Terminal Services Configuration by clicking “Start,”
“Control Panel,” “Administrative Tools” and “Terminal Services
Configuration.” Select the “Server Settings” option from the console tree. Find “License server discovery mode” in the Details pane, right-click it and select “Properties.” Select the “Use these license servers” option, then enter in either
the IP addresses or the names of the license servers to which you wish
to connect. Select the “Check names” option and make any corrections (if necessary), then click “OK.” Click the “Start” button and select the “Run” option. Type “regedit” and click “OK.” Navigate to
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters.”
Locate the “Edit” menu and select “New” and “Key.” Type
“LicenseServers” in order to name a new key. Navigate to
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TermService\Parameters\LicenseServers.”
On “Edit,” select “New” and “Key.” Type “ServerName” (“ServerName” is
the NetBIOS name of the license server that you want to use). Hit
“Enter” on the keyboard. Reboot the computer. |
